Abigail Hawk

  

Abigail Hawk, born Abigail Diane Gustafson on the 18th of April 1982, is an American actress well-known for her roles in the films Samantha Bonner in Reality Check (1995) and Detective Abigail Baker (2010-present) and Ellie in Almost Paris (2017 Golden Door Film Festival). Hawk was born in Chicago and was a student at the North Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences. As a student, she was featured in the TV series Reality Check. She earned her bachelor of performing arts at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2004.



 



 Career



 In the beginning, she was able to locate small pieces of productions like Law & Order Special Victims Unit or Across the Universe.



 



 In the year 2010, Hawk began her long-running role in the television show Blue Bloods. The show's protagonist is Detective 1st Grade Abigail Baker, a member of the Police Commissioner's (Detective) Squad who serves as the chief aide to Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). Hawk's character was first introduced in the first season of the series (although Detective Baker's name was shown as "Det. Melissa Baker" in the closing credits, it was changed to "Det. Abigail Baker appeared in the subsequent episodes. Hawk has been on every episode, with the exception of a couple (over 200 episodes in season 11), despite his status as "Special guest star".
