Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an incredible Hollywood actor and writer who's talents have brought the attention of critics and acclaim. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the oldest of three siblings who were born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore has moved frequently with her family due to the job for her father. This made it difficult to keep or meet new acquaintances. When her family moved to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. Following the completion of her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her training. Thesis in Theater. After graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut on The Edge of Night. In 1986, she was cast in two roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Spins. The role provided her with the opportunity to break through and led to her successful career. In 1988, she was a part-time actress on the show and received an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 her first appearance as an actress on Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she said it was an low-budget film. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore received multiple nominations. Moore was her first major character in Safe(1995). Steven Spielberg, who was director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997 and one of the highest grossing movies, cast Moore as a lead actress. She received a SAG Awards nomination in Magnolia in 1999. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it earned nine Academy Award nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) as well as a variety of other movies. Non-Stop was a film in which that she starred in, was released. Moore has been in many movies and television shows. Recently, she was featured in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). The career of an actress in Hollywood has established itself, as well as her work as an author of children's novels. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. The book was later adapted into the basis for a musical and TV series. Also in 2013, Moore published My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore is a successful actor and author she has also made her private life known to the world. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced.
